POOLESVILLE, Md. – David Dorsett (2018 MF, Bishop Ireton-VA, MadLax) took home both Team MVP and All-Star MVP honors at Friday’s MADLAX East Coast Summer Showcase, an elite recruiting event littered with 225 top-notch players representing 22 states and Canada along with over 20 college coaches.

How did Dorsett (who just started playing lacrosse competitively) say his secret sauce for claiming the crown of All-Star MVP? With his 5 goals in 3 games, his’s answer was simple and unselfish: timing and his teammates.
“I just made plays at the right time and got open at the right time and if it wasn’t for my teammates, both my of goals were certainly assisted by my teammates and if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be here,” he said.
