Why did you choose the school? “I chose Johns Hopkins because of how connected I felt to Coach (Dave) Pietramala. From the second I stepped on campus I knew that he was going to be the guy I wanted to play for. It wasn’t so much his lacrosse coaching and history, but it was how he interacted with the players and really preached the importance of doing things right. I also loved the small, compact feel and layout of the campus, as I felt it was the perfect fit for me. I was very intrigued with the academic support also, I truly felt that Johns Hopkins will support me through anything. Then just like every other 14-year-old boy I was attracted to the rich tradition of Johns Hopkins lacrosse. Whether its playing on Homewood Field, walking through the Cordish Center everyday or just looking up and seeing those National Championship banners hanging.”
